Since the 9th May 2012, Sevil Sevimli, French-Turkish Erasmus student, was arrested in Turkey for attending a concert and participating to the 1st May Demonstration. There are no rules or legislation in Turkey that penalize the mentioned actions.
If you are revolted by the idea that a 19 year old young student who went to study in the country of her parents can be imprisoned, accused of terrorism without any proves, please sign and forward this petition to show Sevil that she is not alone and to manifest your disapprobation towards the authoritarian degeneration of the government in Turkey.
