Neues aus Azawad und Libyen

Wie Le Jura Libertaire berichtet haben Einheiten des Mouvement National de Libération de l’Azawad (MNLA) offenbar die Provinzhauptstadt Kidal eingenommen und kontrollieren den gleichnamigen Verwaltungsbezirk … den Tubu-Stmmen in Libyen scheint es im “neuen Libyen” nichts zu nützen, dass sie zu den ersten gehörten, welche sich gegen Ghaddafi erhoben hatten, wie der World War 4 Report mitteilt:

“The head of Libya’s Toubou people on March 30 called for international intervention after deadly clashes in the southern oasis town of Sabha. “We demand that the United Nations and European Union intervene to stop the ethnic cleansing of the Toubou,” said Issa Abdel Majid Mansur, a former opposition activist under slain dictator Moammar Qaddafi. He accused Arab tribes in Sabha of bombarding a power station providing electricity to areas of southern Libya with a large Toubou population, including Qatrun and Morzuk. The first clashes erupted five days ago after Arab tribesmen accused the Toubou of killing one of their people. The first three days of fighting claimed more than 70 lives, and Zintan Arab militiamen from the north were sent in. A ceasefire was brokered March 28, although continuing clashes have since been reported. Mansur said his people were ready to revive the organization they had formed to oppose Qaddafi in order to fight for their rights in post-Qaddafi Libya—and raised the possibility of separatism. “We announce the reactivation of the Toubou Front for the Salvation of Libya to protect the Toubou people from ethnic cleansing,” Mansur told AFP. “If necessary, we will demand international intervention and work towards the creation of a state, as in South Sudan.”"
 

Zum Aufstand in Azawad

Unbemerkt von der Weltöffentlichkeit wie auch der deutschen Linken hat im Norden von Mali im Herbst letzten Jahres die Organisation Mouvement National pour la Libération de l’Azawad (MNLA) den bewaffneten Kampf eröffnet und kontrolliert derzeit Teile der Region, erklärtes Ziel ist die Unabhängigkeit des von mehrheitlich von Tuareg besiedelten Gebietes. Der Kern der MNLA rekrutiert sich vermutlich primär aus ehemaligen Söldnern der libyschen Armee und Veteranen vergangener Tuareg-Rebellionen. Zu einer Bewertung des Ganzen ist es noch zu früh, zur Programmatik der MNLA muss ich noch weiter recherchieren, immerhin scheint die Organisation nicht nur gegen den malischen Staat sondern auch gegen Al-Qaida-Kräfte in der Region vorzugehen und versteht sich nicht nur als Repräsentanz der Tuareg sondern aller BewohnerInnen der Region, eine Sammlung von Meldungen zum Thema findet mensch auf Le Jura Libertaire.

“The logical outcome of the present impasse is that the rightwing parties in government will lose their majorities. In a relatively short time we may expect that so-called centre-left parties will be in government in Italy, Germany and France. The Greek and Spanish ‘socialist’ parties’ willingness to accept the instructions to go for austerity sets the pattern for all such parties. Their discrediting, en masse as it were, will deepen the general dissatisfaction with the parliamentary-style democratic process, given that existing alternative parties will have cut the standard of living, supported by the media. There are already a number of countries with substantial far-right parties and no doubt there will be more.

Unfortunately, the left has not been able to establish itself anywhere, thus far. In Portugal, where it made a substantial breakthrough in previous elections, its vote halved in the middle of 2011, during the general elections. The attempt by the Revolutionary Communist League (LCR) in France and also the United Secretariat to dissolve itself as a Trotskyist formation and form an anti-capitalist left has failed in France and Portugal. They have, no doubt, learned their lesson.

It is clear that the ruling class has no strategy for the maintenance of the capitalist system. It is not able to rule in the old way. The first condition for revolution, as enunciated by Lenin, is in place.”

Nato lässt 61 afrikanische MigrantInnen im Mittelmeer verhungern und verdursten

aus einem Exklusivbericht im heutigen Guardian … der wieder einmal zeigt, worum es der NATO in und um Libyen wirklich geht:

Dozens of African migrants were left to die in the Mediterranean after a number of European and Nato military units apparently ignored their cries for help, the Guardian has learned.

A boat carrying 72 passengers, including several women, young children and political refugees, ran into trouble in late March after leaving Tripoli for the Italian island of Lampedusa. Despite alarms being raised with the Italian coastguard and the boat making contact with a military helicopter and a Nato warship, no rescue effort was attempted.

All but 11 of those on board died from thirst and hunger after their vessel was left to drift in open waters for 16 days. “Every morning we would wake up and find more bodies, which we would leave for 24 hours and then throw overboard,” said Abu Kurke, one of only nine survivors. “By the final days, we didn’t know ourselves … everyone was either praying, or dying.”

A state from which literally hundreds of thousands of citizens could seek to escape, putting huge pressure on us in Europe. We cannot stand back and let a dictator whose people have rejected him kill his people indiscriminately. To do so would send a chilling signal to others.”

So lange Gaddafi in der Lage war, die Drecksarbeit im Rahmen der Stabilisierung der Festung Europa zu leisten (wozu die Herrschenden in der Elfenbeinküste und in Bahrain aus geographischen Gründen nun einmal nicht in der Lage sind) war er als Verbündeter und Kunde “unserer” Rüstungsindustrie willkommen, nun, wo er nicht mehr Ruhe im Karton halten kann, wird nach Ersatz gesucht.

P.S.: Der Feind meines Feindes ist nur mein Freund, wenn er für die Überwindung von Ausbeutung und Unterdrückung eintritt.

Stopp Hermes – damit alle gut ankommen!

Aufgrund der Ereignisse in Libyen flüchten viele vor der menschenverachtenden Repression und der ausufernden Gewalt über das Mittelmeer. Die Reaktion der EU beschränkt sich hauptsächlich darauf, den Start der Operation “Hermes” der Grenzschutzagentur Frontex vorzuziehen. Anstatt Menschen bei ihrer Flucht zu unterstützen, werden die Grenzkontrollen verstärkt, um sie somit daran zu hindern, nach Europa zu gelangen.

Wir fordern Bewegungsfreiheit für alle!
